PROGRAMME PARTICIPATION TERMS.
Short terms for industry professionals, moderators, panel members, mentors and hosts who take part in a DTR programme or event. Last updated: 24 September 2026.
1. Who this applies to
These terms apply to everyone who registers or is confirmed as an industry professional, moderator, panel member, mentor, talent scout, host, speaker or coach in a DJ Talent Room (DTR) programme or event.
2. Voluntary and unpaid participation
Participation in DTR programmes — including panels, talks, mentorships and workshops — is voluntary and unpaid, unless DTR has explicitly agreed otherwise with you in writing. No employment, partnership or agency relationship is created by your participation.
3. Programme fit
You take part in the programme as scheduled by DTR. DTR determines the format, timing, location and composition of panels and sessions, and may adjust these when production requires it. We will always inform you of changes that affect your contribution as soon as reasonably possible.
4. Use of your name, role and photo
DTR may use your name, professional title, organisation, bio and the photo you provide in programme and event communication — for example on the website, in the line-up, in the run sheet and in social posts about the event. This permission is limited to communication about DTR programmes and events.
5. Photography and recording during the event
DTR events are documented with photo and video. By participating you accept that you may appear in event photography and recordings used for DTR communication, including publication and reuse after the event. Recordings remain the property of DTR. If you have a specific objection, let us know before the event and we will take it into account where reasonably possible.
6. Your statements
You are solely responsible for the statements, opinions and materials you contribute during a panel, talk or session. DTR is not liable for statements made by participants, and publication or recording of your contribution does not make DTR responsible for its content.
7. Cancellation and no-show
If you are unable to attend, you inform DTR as soon as possible via your DTR contact or management@djtalentroom.com. A no-show without notice may affect future invitations. DTR may cancel or change a programme at any time; in that case you are not entitled to any compensation, reimbursement of costs or damages. If you cancel or withdraw, you cannot claim any costs or compensation from DTR either.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DTR — including external producers (such as Rockstars Digitals), crew and anyone working for or on behalf of DTR — accepts no liability for any damage, loss, costs or claims arising from or related to your participation, the event, its cancellation or change, or the use of recordings. No individual working for DTR is personally liable; any claim is directed exclusively at DTR as an organisation and is excluded as set out here. External producers and contractors engaged by DTR, including Rockstars Digitals and its people, act solely on DTR's behalf, are not a party to these terms, carry no obligations or liability towards you, and may rely directly on every exclusion, limitation and indemnity in these terms. Arrangements with the venue are made by DTR alone.
9. Indemnity
You indemnify DTR, its external producers (including Rockstars Digitals) and its team against all third-party claims arising from your participation, your statements, your materials or your conduct, and you reimburse DTR for reasonable costs incurred in defending against such claims.
10. Your information
You confirm that the information you submit is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. DTR processes your details in line with the privacy statement. Contact details such as your phone number and email are used for production purposes only and are never published.
11. General
The general Terms & Conditions of DTR also apply. Dutch law applies; disputes are submitted to the competent court in Rotterdam. Questions: management@djtalentroom.com.
